Overview
Samtec 20+ Gbps FireFly™ Edge Card Socket Assembly is one part of a two-piece system with a tiny footprint on the board and interchangeable for both copper and optical flyover cable assemblies. The UEC5-2 SI Evaluation Kit provides system designers and SI engineers an easy-to-use solution for testing UEC5-2 connectors.

Features
- Two PCB system with compact form factor
- One PCB contains UEC5-2 series connector (UEC5-019-2-H-D-RA-1)
- Second PCB contains mating card edge
- Routes high-speed differential pairs (8 total) from UEC5-2 connectors to high-precision RF connectors
- Supports multiple high-precision RF connector options (2.40 mm/2.92 mm SMAs)
- Optimized SI performance via Samtec Final Inch® BOR PCB trace routing
- Enable time domain measurements via direct connection to TDR/TDTs
- Enable frequency domain measurements via direct connection to VNAs
