S-Parameter Models for Samtec Interconnects

S-parameters, also known as scattering parameters, are a unified set of frequency-domain performance characteristics that can be used to completely define the properties of an electrical device. S-parameter models may be used to make performance charts or can be used directly in full channel simulations. From S-parameters, numerous SI characteristics can be extracted including insertion loss, return loss, and crosstalk. S-parameter models from Samtec enhance system-level simulation.
