Samtec’s URSA® I/O rugged power system features a micro-hyperboloid contact system with four points of contact for extreme reliability and high mating cycles in cable-to-cable and cable-to-board applications. Additionally, EMI shielding limits signal degradation and optimizes performance.

NovaRay® I/O is available with a rugged 38999 shell in a cable-to-panel design using Flyover® cable technology for 112 Gbps PAM4 performance. ExaMAX® I/O EMI shielded external cable and cage supports 64 Gbps PAM4 performance with up to 72 staggered differential pairs on individual signal wafers for reduced crosstalk. Extreme environment FireFly™ optical transceivers are designed for an extended temperature range from -40 ºC to +85 ºC with an optional parylene conformal coating for exposed military and aerospace applications.

AccliMate™ sealed I/O systems meet IP67/IP68 requirements for dust and water proof sealing, ideal for high reliability in harsh environments. These sealed systems include bayonet circulars in 12 mm, 16 mm or 22 mm shell sizes, and a miniature push-pull system for increased panel density. Sealed rectangulars offer a 25-45% panel area savings, and threaded circulars are available with USB Type A/B/C or Ethernet that meets CAT5e.

NovaRay® I/O uses Flyover® cable technology to route up to 4,096 Gbps PAM4 aggregate data from the IC package to the panel and beyond, and is available in a rugged 38999 shell.
